AIPAC's Influence

Led by Representative Tom Emmer, Minnesota’s Republican congressional delegation has accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding from the controversial American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). These contributions have raised serious questions among constituents: How can our representatives stay truly focused on America First priorities when they are financially tied to a powerful foreign policy lobby?

Michelle Fischbach: Influenced by Pro-Isreal Lobby Cash While Minnesota Taxpayers Foot the Bill

Rep. Michelle Fischbach (R-MN-07) has emerged as one of the strongest advocates in Congress for unconditional U.S. funding to Israel — and the numbers show exactly why. According to Track AIPAC’s February 17, 2026 FEC data, Fischbach has accepted $221,288 from pro-Israel lobby groups and their donors — including $64,231 from PACs and $157,057 from individual lobby donors.

Her record delivers for those donors.  She voted YES on multiple standalone Israel security supplemental bills, including H.R. 6126 and H.R. 8034, which funneled billions more in military aid with no strings attached. Fischbach's loyalty to Israel comes at a steep price for Minnesota taxpayers are. One analysis highlights that the state is responsible for $307,216,935 in federal tax dollars directed toward Israel’s weapons programs. While American families face inflation, and rural infrastructure decay, Fischbach continues prioritizing blank-check foreign aid.

This pattern runs deep across Minnesota’s Republican delegation — all aligned with big pro-Israel money:

  • Tom Emmer (MN-06): A staggering $1,984,488

  • Pete Stauber (MN-08): $254,846

  • Brad Finstad (MN-01): $94,913

These figures aren’t coincidences. They reflect a swamp system where lobby dollars shape votes and policy.

Tom Emmer’s Role in Installing Fischbach Over Grassroots Conservatives

The money pipeline didn’t start after Fischbach reached Washington — it helped put her there. In 2020, longtime grassroots fighter Dave Hughes had spent years building real support in MN-07. He ran strong campaigns in 2016 and 2018 against 30-year incumbent Collin Peterson, knocking doors, connecting with rural voters, and laying the foundation for a true America First takeover.

National Republicans told Hughes they would only support him if he raised more money. Instead of backing the candidate who had done the hard grassroots work, Tom Emmer — then NRCC chairman and a top recipient of pro-Israel lobby funds himself — personally recruited Michelle Fischbach into the race. Emmer connected her directly to the establishment money machine. Fischbach entered late with big-donor support and swept the nomination. The grassroots effort built by Hughes was sidelined.

This is the swamp in action: establishment insiders recruit loyalists, funnel lobby cash, and push out candidates who actually represent the district’s working families.

It’s Time for Grassroots America First Republicans to Reclaim Our Party

True conservatives don’t need hundreds of thousands in lobby money to put America first. We need leaders who answer to the voters who show up at caucuses, county fairs, and polling places — not D.C. PACs. The same machine that installed Fischbach over Dave Hughes is still steering policy toward endless foreign commitments while ignoring our own country’s crises. Grassroots America First Republicans built the momentum to challenge Peterson for years. It’s time we finish what Hughes started.

Reject the money-led swamp. Demand candidates who serve Minnesota taxpayers first — not foreign lobbies. The future of the Republican Party and the salvation of our country depend on it. No more bought politicians. No more blank checks abroad before securing our own borders and communities.

Take MN-07 back for the grassroots.
